Hi Helen, I bet this would be awesome with avocado ice cream. I have to try it this one. I read a few other comments and I think the pound cake would make this to rich of a desert, but that is just my taste because I don't like really rich sugary deserts.

I use pound cake to cover my icecream if i fry it. Works really well and is tastier than sandwhich bread you should try it sometime helen! i love your recipes.
