“We have to speak. We aren’t going to say everything perfectly, but in a season like this, silence is agreement.” Pastor Steven Furtick and Pastor John Gray sit down to have a conversation about race, privilege, apathy, and what it will take to become the bridge to a better future.
We hope this message inspires you to have your own conversations in your home and community. We each have a responsibility to stand up in the face of injustice –– and equality will never be attained through silence.

My love for this church has grown even deeper for bravery exemplified by this two ministers, Father's, husbands, uncles and more. Thank you for verbally, boldly , and humanely showing us what's it like to love Christ on both sides of the debate. I have a son and I easily get angry. Even now I'm tearing up because the fear of being killed unjustly is SO REAL! Thank you for showing us the answer is GODLY LOVE!
This a Powerful converstion !🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I'm an atheist, but this was some good shhhhhhhh…..
🙏
AMEN AMEN AMEN
This is a season where silence is agreement.
please forgive my brothers and sisters jesus and myself as well ,those that hate us i’ll show you love my enemies i’ll show love for those that have hurt me i forgive you we need more conversations like this thank you pastors i was moved .
Democrats want us to love A and hate B. Republicans want us to love B and hate A. Jesus wants us to love both A and B. Tragedy must be mourned.
Amen! This may have been THE greatest message of our time ❤️
I appreciate y'all for talking about this!!
Theses conversations are needed. I agree with people who want to wait for all the evidence. That is wisdom. I do want to say no matter what George Floyd did when a man says he can't breathe, you should stop what you are doing.
Revelation 5:9 – “And they sang a new song: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.'”
Revelation 7:9 – “After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.”
God Bless you both!!!❤
Amen to the comment "We have lost this art of conversation because we have replace it with clicks and comments." Thank you for taking the time to have a conversation about this topic. It is so moving! PS Love your shoes Pastor John Gray! 🙂
Bless you both! My heart is undone and forever changed!
David Dorn deserves more accolades as the source of this dialog than George Floyd, yet the public narrative steers this, when it shouldn't. Critical thinking is required by and via the Holy Spirit. I state this as YaHoVaH's Watchman, in the name of Yeshua/Jesus.
One other thing that grieves me: I've never met a man or woman that matches the pigment of a black sheet of paper, nor have I met a man or woman matching a sheet of clean copy machine paper white. Neither of those two men in the video are black. One is brown, and the other is lighter than brown, yet darker than me, being pale, yet not "white"!
This is what church should be about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you and God bless you both.
Thank Pastor Gray and Pastor Furtick thank you GOD I thank you for allowing me to be able to hear these two men talk about this
Compassion. Have Compassion 🙏
not by power, not by might, but by your Spirit, God! send your Spirit, God. And breaaaaaaaaaathe!
Can someone join me in prayer no one in my family went to college and I’ve been working so hard all my life and praying to God but I have to pay a tuition of 28,000$ and my mother doesn’t work and my father is unemployed but I believe with all my heart Jesus can make a way there is no way please it would help a lot❤️🙏🏾❤️
“Don’t limit my God to your experience “ wow thank you for this Pastors
Thank you for this powerful and much needed conversation. God knew I needed to hear this. We are created equal in the eyes of God, we're all made in His image.
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Proverbs 4:23
Pick up the kingdom! 🙏🏻
I’m white, I live in a country that is 90% catholic and white. Raised by My very traditional grandparents that never saw a person that is not white. My first encounter with another race was when I was 17… and still there is no way for me to understand the hatered for someone that you don’t even know. You are either a good person or not. That’s all the criteria we need…. just can’t wrap my mind around it… Lord help our hearts see beyond 3D – it is a freedom beyond comprehension 🙏🏻
May God abundantly reward all your efforts in keeping His peace 🙏🏻
The sin of indifference…
You’re right! Guilt is Not a strategy but turning away from former indifference and apathy IS !! This makes me want to join a black church…
What does John brings the race card into the problems with his neighbors? Why does he assume it's because he is black? Not buying it….
Amazing. Over half a million viewers and less than 5% likes. The comments supersede the likes more than 20 fold. Thank you for your boldness and vulnerability in this hour! Thank you for leading. God bless you both.
VERY POWERFUL 🙏❤️ WHAT A BLESSING 🔥 GLORY 🙌!
Thank you. I pray for God’s continued blessings over your lives.
All that is true but I’m Hispanic in a interracial marriage and I have felt what a black man and his family have felt. We are already feeling judged. I’m scared to!
By far my favorite video and it’s only 11 minutes in
That first 9 minutes just brought me to tears🥺🥺
Change is here i thank god for men of god like ya'll to speak out cause I'm tried so we need help the bible say after you done all u can do stand so we need to stand together i am live in Chicago
You too are the best pastors I’ve ever seen!!
I’m still here 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Such a beautiful conversation. Thank you, Pastors. Pastor John Gray III, you are the age of my little brother and I see a brother in you. Thank you for your tender heart for Jesus and for others. Thank you for being willing to sit down and talk to us. We want to become part of the bridge.
Man thanx you all this convention is so important and emotionally
🥶🥶🤔🤔🤔🤔
I have to say, I believe all lives matter. Innocent people the world over are being killed because of their color or beliefs. It's all unjust.
Do you think that the Black community is being used as a pawn for the agenda of other groups?
